After much hard work and behind-the-scenes frenzy, we finally launched our much awaited website! Honestly, we’ve been on a bit of high (the good kind) since we launched our website on Wednesday the 15th April 2015. Many thanks to all that have contributed to making it a resounding success. We are keeping ourselves very busy sourcing those unique and special gifts that we know our customers will love as much as we do.
Our Baby’s Album – our little project – is definitely a labour of love and so we are glad that we can now share it with the greater online community. Having an album which allows you to track your child’s milestones is so important as we tend to forget with the passing days. As your child grows older, they often wonder what their quirks were during their infant years right through to the day they started school. And we’re so glad that you can now have a book where you can write it all down as it happens and eventually share it as they grow. We hope that having this ‘heirloom’ in your home will bring you, your children and future generations much joy as they look back at a joyous time.
For those that supported us at the Cii Stores relaunch on the 18th April 2015, of “Our Baby’s Album”, we thank you. It was lovely meeting new authors to the local publishing scene such as the ladies behind the ‘Love our Allah’ brand. Check out their book, ‘Allah is Awesome’ written for little ones. For those who followed the fictional blog trend in the last few years, I’m sure ‘The Diary of a Guji Girl’ caught the attention of many. The Blog-turned-Novel is quite a success and author, Qaanitah Hunter was there sharing her thoughts on publishing challenges and writing in the South African Muslim community. Thank you to Cii and Safeera Kaka for being such a stellar MC!
